How long before the military runs through the 87 billion?
It's been about 12 weeks since the supplement was passed, I'm thinking that will last another eight to twelve weeks. However, with a spring offensive planned for Afghanistan, and copters going down right and left in Iraq, how long can it be before the military is back hat in hand asking for more billions?

And, just where in the hell is that money going to come from?

1. Opium?
CIA could start selling some of that fresh Afghani opium, or are they already doing that? In 2002 opium production in Afghanistan increased 18 fold to 3,400 tons.

5. I'm sorry (blushes)
Sometimes I just lose control. As Padraig would say "No blood, no worry" or something to that effect!

6. That was for 04...now the "05" budget will be out and more of the same
will be included. What pisses me off is..where does 400 billion go in the defense dept? That number does not include any Iraq money.

7. If it really went to the military it might take a while.
The money is not going to the troops, it's going to bush's friend.

8. I think Haliburton is receiving five billion a month but should go up.
For every five billion Haliburton gets the GOP (Bush*) will get kicked back to them about thirty million.
