Outraged with the Blair Deceptions!
How can we put forth efforts to attacking Tony Blair from this side of the pond?

This so called "vindication" is the most aggregious travesty of "justice" since the original lies that the war was predicated on.

A report is released, claiming the sky is yellow and the sun is blue, and therefore Blair is vindicated?

I can't imagine any possible explanation for Kelley's death. We KNOW the report was sexed up. We KNOW "45 minutes" was a lie. We know the entire predication of the war was a lie.

What possible explanation is there for Kelley to have killed himself? What was he to blame for? Look - He didn't have a horse in the race at all! He is a worker who follows the orders to produce what he is told to. He had no interest in the war either way.

1. Nothing for nothing
But a country that still supports a group of rich, spoiled, freeloaders (Royal Family), has it's political head up it's ass.

Blair is a fake liberal and a disgrace to his party.

4. Generalization
don't you think? There are many of us here who don't have "it's political head up it's ass" and are trying to change things. Indeed we are here at DU to glean ideas and have cross pond dialog with like minded people on issues that affect us all. Yes we still have the Royal Family but their support is relatively low, and they are seen as an anachronism, but one that brings in tourist wealth. It is my opinion that it is important we limit or remove their wealth and power, but so is making that change by evolution rather than revolution ( we've never been into revolution in quite the same way as you ).

You are correct about Bliar though.

5. I like the Royal Family. . .
. . . and the Crown system has certainly done a better job of protecting the civil liberties of Britons from predation than the US Constitution has of late.

There's no "USA PATRIOT Act" in Britain for good reason. Britons would throw out the proposers on their asses posthaste.

3. Take it easy, MBF, the quagmire is still there and Blair still stuck in it
furthermore there are going to be European Parliament elections this
year, and a nasty surprise maybe in store for New Labour.

The only thing that keeps New Labour sheeple loyal to blair is that
he can deliver parliamentary majorities, but I think that this
nationwide poll is going to put an end to that myth once and for
all.

6. Suprise in store at the EU elections?
The EU elections are where the tories come into their own, actually debate the matter of the EU where Labour and the Lib Dems all to often try to dodge the subject and the tories win as a result. That's what happened last time. Outside of that, the tories tend to perform remarkably badly. They are something of a one-issue party you see and that issue is Brussels bashing.

The EU elections will not harm Blair as much as you think as the tories will get people to vote on the EU rather than on Blair. Come general election time people realize that the tories offer no alternative to Blair and vote "new" labour more often than not. Blair has nicked the tories platform virtually lock, stock and barrel and they cannot compete as a result. That's why it's important to go for people like the Lib Dems who do offer an alternative to Blair.
