Google ad title "The Left Hates America" - don't they ban anti-Bush ads?
I thought I read that some DU members have had their ads rejected be Google for being inflamatory? The title of the ad is "The Left Hates America" and it's showing at the top of the Village Voice.

If you've had your ad banned by Google, you might consider bringing this ad to their attention and asking why the right is allowed to run controversial ads but the left isn't.

You may have to reload the page a few times to see the ad.

1. This meme is being spread on local tv in the Seattle area.
It's in an "ad" for Rush Limbaugh's show that they play over and over and over.

2. And what really pisses me off is that it probably is a 100% tax deduction
Since it is corporate advertising instead of polical advertising - quite a loop hole for the VRWC.

3. Ouch.
And also basically a GOP campaign ad, too.

4. I suppose the same goes for Rush's Salary
He's just an "entertainer" so they can pay him 20 Mill a year and take it off as an expense, even though 100% of what he does is partisan politics.

5. Jerky, but ineffective
I highly doubt that Village Voice readers are going to be convinced by a wingnut ad. If Slimbaugh's strategy is to hit "liberal" sites, it will backfire--if anything, it will just inflame the left to more action.

I agree, however, if Google is being partisan, then they must be taken to task for it.

7. Oreilly Sucks is banned, but Liberals Hate America is ok?
That sounds very fair.
