Perle on "The Daily Show" |
|
Not sure if this was discussed or not, but did anyone catch him on the show 1/27?
In his argument for preemptive force, he said the administration learned from the mistakes of pre-9/11.
He actually said "We knew where bid Laden was. We knew what he was up to."
Why hasn't anyone jumped all over this?

Don't forget that Rummy knew where all those WMD's were too.

4. I caught that interview. |

Thought Jon Stewart was masterful. When Perle said invasion of Iraq was justified because they were in violation of UN mandates, Jon laughed at him and replied, "Lots of countries are!"

I've never seen Jon Stewart more creeped out by a guest than with Richard Perle. He flat out looked uncomfortable to be that close to him.
