Two of his guest will drive you crazy...this stupid actor who knows absolutely nothing about what a lying greedy pig Bush is and Bush's CA advisor, a woman I want to sock in the jaw, if I ever got a chance.

the stuff is there, the press just chooses to ignore it. They're lazy. It reckless for Peter Jennings and ABC to not investigate it.

Edited on Fri Jan-30-04 08:23 PM by Cush
Iraq wasn't a problem for 12 years, then it became a huge problem

Bill is quoting Powell from 2001 on how he wasn't a threat

Astin: When I heard Bush was running, I told my wife we would be back in the desert w/ in 2 years

11. Mindy Tucker is a Bush insider
She was his press aide during campaign 2000. Then she went to be the spokesperson for the Department of Justice. Then she was replaced with Barbara Comstock. Is she on the 2004 campaign?

Someone please get her title.

15. Astin pretty starry-eyed over
his visit with George at the White House. "He really cares about people". They must have served the Kool-Aid during Astin's visit.

20. Proviso
Note he did say something along the lines of he wants to help people "in his way."

The freaky thing about the segment was that, on the marriage discussion, the liberals were more Republican than the Republican.

13. Bill's slamming CBS * the SB

14. I wish he would have mentioned MoveOn's ad
which CBS refuses to air. Go to their website and take a look. Wonderful ad. And not hard-edged or offensive (well, Bush's deficit is offensive). CBS airs advocacy ads. There is no valid reason this ad couldn't air. CBS is cowardly. This is the country we live in now. The government determines what we can see. And can't.

17. The show will be back on in 20 mins.
You have got to see Maher being "Kobe Teeth" at the beginning, it is seriously hilarious.

And Maher gives time to Michael Moore & Max Cleland.

Not his best show so far, but he is getting better each week.
