Question: How Many Books Did O'Reilly Actually Sell |
|
And how does that compare with his nemisis Al Franken...or Michael Moore?
It seems to me that Al & Michael's books stayed on the NYT & Amazon lists forever, while the Splotch was only on a couple of weeks.
Is there a source that says total units sold? I heard Michael Moore say that his last one sold more than Ann Coulter & O'liely combined.

I have no doubt that Franken and Moore's books outsold O'Lielly's in the US but I know that outside the US they MASSIVELY outsold him.

6. There was something a while back about... |
|
coulter and orielys' books having a star* after them on the best sellers list. This star means there were bulk orders placed. (read warehouse) I don't remember where I saw it, may have been in Frankens' book.

11. that seems common with rightwing books |

but on the New York Times list it's not an asterisk, it's a dagger that signifies bulk sales.
An asterisk (*) indicates that a book's sales are barely distinguishable from those of the book above. A dagger (+) indicates that some bookstores report receiving bulk orders.

It was six before hippo-tron bought one...
All the rest were bought by his rich friends in caselots and used to heat their homes this winter.

10. He gets free publicity every time his show airs |
|
the impact that Franken and Moore made was far far greater. I dont know the total units each sold, but I wouldnt be surprised if O'Reilly eventually passed them because of his show.
