WTF? Re: Poindexter's resignation
"It's my understanding that he ... expects to, within a few weeks, offer his resignation," the official, speaking on condition of anonymity, told reporters.

http://reuters.com/newsArticle.jhtml?type=topNews&storyID=3198102

So, how much damage can the felonious John Poindexter do in "a few weeks?" I shudder to think. Why-the-fuck isn't he packing up his shit right this minute. Why do we have to pay this bastard-rat one more fucking dime of taxpayer money? Why the fuck is the Pentagon "official" so vague on the subject of Poindexter's resignation ("he ... expects to, within a few weeks, offer his resignation")?

I smell a Bu$h-rat, folks. Another Bu$h-rat, reeking with the stench of death.

6. Yes, it is tragic that such potential was directed to criminal activities.
Poindexter should be in prison, not in government.

3. Call your senators
Tell them you want Poindexter's ass OUT of his office, his keys turned over (or his office and building access otherwise denied), and all passwords on his accounts changed. NOW.

No paper goes out of his office and no shredders go into it.

Ah-well. I can dream, can't I?

8. I'll save myself the dime. My senators are Kay Bailey Hutchinson and ...
John Cornyn. Those two are probably helping find a cushy sinecure for Poindexter while my blood pressure goes through the roof.

7. Maybe Poindexter and Harvey Pitt will be exchanging jobs?
So much for working out the "details."
