1. For his sake, I hope Calhoun has already cashed the check... |
|
No, wait, even better: he cashed it, spent the money on a new SUV and tomorrow it bounces.

8. Calhoun completely discredited |

Wow. That was scathing. Calhoun looks like an imbecile now, and is pretty worthless. Also, the acknowledgment that he could be called to active duty as a result of no-show is damning; one should note that it is precisely this disciplinary action that the Calpundit speculation about ARF put forward. That's basically been confirmed now: the no-show did result in disciplinary action. Also, the claim that Bush had to "rush" to fill in all those dates in order to get an honorable discharge is, like, whoa. The guy was a slacking ass slacker (and, probably, as Chris Rock says, a cracker ass cracker). What a fucking schmuck he is.
My uncle was drafted in summer 1967, and served in Vietnam in 3 Corps (first in "War Zone C," then - if I remember correctly - in the area of Tay Ninh City) late 1967 - late 1968. He was grazed in the head by a bullet. His best story is as follows: They tried to get him to go out during his wake-up (the week or two between the time you "finish" your tour and the time you can catch the Freedom Bird out of Tan Son Nhut)! He refused to go back out. You're violating a direct order, they said. He said: Fucking court martial me. They didn't. When he got back to NYC, he handed all his military shit to my grandfather, and told him he never wanted to see it again. That's what happened to working class kids, while Dubya the fucking coward was picking his teeth and getting some poon in Tex-ass or Bamie. What a fucking jamoke!

9. how could he have reported in Ala. |
|
when, according to his docs, he only applied for the 187th transfer in September? That means the documents prove that from May until September he didn't show up.
May 1972: applies for transfer to inactive reserves in Ala.
Denied. Leaves for Ala. anyway.
September 1972: applies for transfer to Alabama NG? Allowed to do substitute duty there (?) Is this right?
