SBC Yahoo Owned by the BinLaden's? |
|
Did anyone/everyone else know this????????
I just read in an article that SBC stands for the Saudi BinLaden Corporation.
If you're paying for service from them I hope you changed.
I used to be on Prodigy which was purchased by SBC Yahoo a couple of years ago. Last year, my ZoneAlarm starting catching some really intense scanning from a server that I had never heard of before.
I caught their IP, reverse tracked through SamSpade and found the server owner..............Level 3 communications.
I contacted them, advised I would prosecute for their repeated port scans and was told, bluntly, that they actually supply the online service in contract for SBC/Yahoo/Prodigy!

5. Here's the LINK (Doesn't reference Yahoo, only SBC???) |
|
http://schema-root.org/commerce/corporation/military/carlyle_group/It's about a third of the way down the page; just look for SBC. I suppose there may easily be two different SBC's; hence my original question. Does anyone know of a way to find out for sure?

6. SBC Corporation used to be Southwestern Bell Corporation |
|
quite a few years ago they changed their name to SBC Corporation when it was "fashionable" for companies to have letters for names. For example, USX is the old US Steel (if I remember correctly)...
