Bill Clinton for VP - Interesting NYT Article |
|
Oh the humanity. Clinton debating Cheney! Get out of Bill Clinton's house! Restoring dignity to the White House!
The constitutional question is rationalized away in the article.
Surely only a dream, but an awesome eight months of fireworks for all americans. Then when Kerry-Clinton win in November, dumbass conservatives will have something else to blame Clinton for, and for once they will be right.

Despite his failure, Clinton did more for this country than BushCo ever has. BushCo has basically pillaged the people's treasury and the constitution for their own personal gain and they've lied and sealed records to cover it all up.
We cannot let "the Clinton's go". Hillary is a valuable and capable woman who should continue to pursue higher political office. Her husband's problem is not hers, as much as the right wants to try to associate and poison the minds of everybody with that line of thought. I see they got to you.

yes clinton did a good job as president and his personal life is his own and dignity there was lacking. that is all that i have in this article, no more no less.
if you see how he holds life as dignity., peachy. tis yours. cool
i dont see dignity as the word to give bill. so i giggle. all on my own, without another gettting to me
now if i were to say, ya you are right and this article is right he does sit in dignity, then..............i owuld be letting someone, the pressure of the board? be getting to me

Clinton speaking and campaigning would futher expose just how boring Kerry really is. Besides, better an ex-president than a current veep. Being VP would be a step down. In fact, don't expect to hear much from Clinton expect at the convention, and then mainly to talk about himself.

Assuming Kerry get's the nomination, he'd basically accept his status as a footnote to the Clinton years. Bryant Check it out --> http://politicalcomment.blogspot.com

No more DLC waffles.
Howard Dean brought balls back to the DNC, and Kerry has grown a pair, too. We rejected Lieberman. It's time to MOVE ON.

I've said it before, and I think Clinton would make a great Secretary of State. Outside of the US, he is very well thought of and respected.

Despite the claims of the clueless author, the Constitution does indeed prohibit Bill Clinton from becoming the VP.
See the 12th Amendment.
"But no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice-President of the United States. "

We're still keeping primary discussions in GD Primary and discussion of VP nominee falls under that. There is already a discussion there about this article which is why it is not being moved.
