Rate the Yahoo story on 9/11 ads a 5 to keep it front & center
Edited on Thu Mar-04-04 12:43 PM by Woodstock
It's currently only a 3.25.

But is the first link on their news.

I think the rating keeps it on the news summary page one.

The more people who find out how shameful and immoral this man is, the better.

1. Why is it rated so low in the first place?
Could it be that conservatives have something to hide???

Dirty motherfuckers

10. That's just it - they are trying to hide something
Edited on Thu Mar-04-04 01:16 PM by Woodstock
We are trying to bring a fact to someone's attention.

They are trying to hide a fact.

For some reason, gee, I don't know, the first thing seems like something an adult would do. The second thing seems like something a frightened child would do. And something someone who had something they were ashamed of would do.

I was just trying to bring a fact to someone's attention. I have no interest in playing games with children. They have all three branches of government and they own the media. I guess they can have Yahoo News, too. They can't hide the truth forever, that's all I can say.

21. No, it's something a Nazi or Soviet would do
Information suppression is a key Totalitarian Trait and the Busheviks/Freepers/Dittoheads are no different in this respect from Grandpa Prescott Bush's Business Partners.

Edited on Thu Mar-04-04 12:49 PM by maggrwaggr
weird, no?

My guess is someone in the Bushco campaign has figured out how to vote more than once.

How else to explain it? Someone's sitting there hitting that button over and over and over.

6. I honestly don't understand how they "think"
If you want to call it thinking, that is.

I mean, really. What are they saying as they Freep this?

"Oh man, if we don't give this a low rating, people will start to think that 9/11 was a bad thing!"

They just know to oppose Free America at every turn.

Why do they hate our freedom so much?

Wouldn't they be happier licking the boots of Commie Chinese, who are Bushevik than Bushevik?

The "ratings" on Yahoo are pretty useless IMO.

I still gave it a 5, of course. :)

19. Hang on a second.
There's talk of pulling the add because the average viewer finds it distasteful. So the more the ad airs, the more it will make Bush look bad.

20. What to do about a heavily freeped Yahoo story
Edited on Thu Mar-04-04 02:28 PM by kayell
Once a yahoo story is this heavily freeped, it is almost impossible to raise its rating into the 4.2 or so range that is almost essential to keep it on the highest ratings page.

But wait, don't despair. Lots of stories on the same subject will keep popping up on Yahoo all day. You want to get to those early and push their scores up so more people see the story early before the freepers get it.

Just do a search for keywords (in this case - 9/11 bush ads) in news stories, then rate a 5 the stories you like. Don't forget to take a look around for pictures with impact too.

Here's a story found by this method that still could have its rating raised. http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/nm/20040304/pl_nm/campaign_bush_reaction_dc_3

and another http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/afp/20040304/pl_afp/us_vote_attacks_040304181228

I'm sure you can find more.
