the terrorist the wonderful opportunity for truth and sounds like kennedy isnt aware. the man they were talking was in a camp by the kurd territory adn bush had three chances getting that man. was out of saddams control. why they went there. was u.s. reach, adn he had support from fellow middle easterns to go after the camp, and all three times a plan was drawn and the admins dismissed it cause they were concerned would interfer with the war with iraq

kennedy didnt know this, didnt say

3. Kennedy is great....he won't let Wolfie browbeat him!
No matter how Wolfie tries to colour things to make Bush look good, Kennedy sticks to his guns....He's fearless....wonderful!

5. Wolf tries to do a Russert Prosecution on Kennedy. Seeing the contrast
Edited on Sun Mar-07-04 01:35 PM by KoKo01
between how he interviewed Cheney shown just before and how he went at Kennedy is a lesson in what we are up against with the Media Whores.

I've seen Blitzer do some good interviews, and I have mixed feelings about him. But, it's easy to see in these two interviews back to back that the Media Whores of AOL/CNN cracked the whip and told Blitzer what he had to do.

He and Kennedy looked almost on the verge of a fist fight at a couple of points.

At least that's the way I'm seeing it. the second part of the Kennedy interview coming up now ...after the commercial break, of course.

12. In the promo for the Cheney interview, wolf said,
up next, is the straight-talking Dick Cheney. Of course, Senator Kennedy, interviewed later in the show, was afforded no such complimentary introduction. It's this subtle propoganda that destroyed Gore. Here, the viewer is told Cheney is a straight-shooter. The idea is to convince the undecided that whether or not you exactly understand what Cheney is talking about, rest assured he is a straight-shooter. Ironically, the opposite is true. This is what we are up against, people. It won't change unless we find a way to point out it is happening.

7. You Go Kennedy!

Kennedy kicked his ass in the first half.

I'm watching the second half now.

Wolf wants him t step back, Kennedy said that he is ready to help in anyway he can. Says Kerry is a fighter,he is too.

Told Wolf that Kerry is not like Mike D.
Talked about Jobs,Health Care
Says that Kerry Will fight aggressively.
Wolf says that Ralph Nader has 6% of the vote! Kennedy did not get ruffled. He pointed out how important each vote is.
Wolf wanted to know if Kennedy will talk to Nader and convince him to quit,Kennedy skillfully answered him without putting Nader down.

Kennedy said that he strongly opposes Gay Rights amendment, said it is offensive for Bush to support it.

Said Kerry is having Jim Johnson to work on the VP Recommendations. Would not give Wolfie the names of any potential candidates for VP.

13. I don't know where his personal alligience is....
but professionally he is with Bush. Similarly to Judy Woodruff, he might ask the somewhat difficult question to a Dick Cheney or other republican. However, during the answer, you won't hear any but, but, but, interrupting. And you will not hear any follow-up questioning. The reverse was true during the Kennedy interview. Sorry, but if anything is changing, it's changing slowly. It's like pulling teeth. Two steps forward, one step back in trying to expose this administration.

10. He's doing great talking about Kerry on the second part of the interview.
He's talking about the "rights not rites" issue with Gay Civil Unions.

Answering whether he would be a VP for Kerry. You know that would be an interesting VP choice! I could go for that. Ted Kennedy for VP???

Wow! It would be a real gamble unless Kerry would go for broke and accept the "liberal label" and fight for it and us.

14. You know what JFK said about Ted?
He said that Ted was the best politician of the three of them: JFK, RFK and Ted.

We need that now more than ever. Ted is really hammering these SOBS.
