A nice bit of statistics... consumer studies have shown that if one person says they dislike a product then they will tell lots of people. An average of ten people will adapt a negative opinion of the product even if they hadn't even tried it.

So this means start talking to people now, friends, family, coworkers, church members, whoever. If you don't know them, feel it out, use some sense, and start talking about how bad Bu$h and this administration are. I hate to sound commercial but Bush is defective, and people have to hear it over and over again, we have to drill it into them like a bad budweiser commercial.

So, my thought here on how Bush would be able to kill multiple birds with one stone is for them to stage a biological accident. If Bush allows a bio-accident to occur, Homeland Security can force the country to go to Code Red -- John AshKKKroft's dream -- in fact, soccer moms will *clamor* for it for the safety of their children. Bush can then extend Patriot Acts I, II, with many more unpatriotic acts to follow. Rove can promote Bush's only possible way to get re-s-elected: declare that we cannot have a change in leadership as it is not the time to change horses (or, in Bush's case, horse's ass) in the middle of the stream.

... I suspect there will be an "Al Qaeda" incident involving either a
dirty bomb or a biological agent but it will most likely be *outside*
the USA. A similar, near-simultaneous, attack on the continental USA
will be averted at the last minute by the heroic action of the security
forces. Put on red alert by the preceding attack in Europe, they just
manage to recognise, trap and capture/kill the (Middle Eastern Muslim)
attackers in time. Other threats will still be at large so the red
alert will have to continue for an indefinite time (while other security
enhancements are rushed through to assist the investigation).
These additional "security" changes will also serve to protect the
touchscreen strategy ("hackers" are terrorists remember), the oil-grab
strategy (environmentalists are terrorists remember) and the "Free
Speech Zones" ("dissenters" are terrorists remember).

The European attack will probably be aimed at a major British city
(London, Birmingham or Manchester) or possibly a French one (Paris).
This will achieve the dual goals of bringing "Old Europe" back into
line and solving the Blair problem (either by bullying/support or
by simple elimination).
