Flip-Flop, Flip-Flop. Do Ya Hear the Beat of How to Defeat George??
George opened his attacks on Kerry with the old "flip-flop" tag---exactly the same label he stuck on Gore. Then it dawned on me. Everything about this guys 3 years in office have been "retro"---whether it's people, ideas, methods, etc., they always just regurgetate the past. They have no new ideas. And that gave me a clue of what Kerry's people can do to head this two-bit cowboy off at the pass.

They need to sit down and make a list of all the subject areas used by Bush II to attack first McCain and then Gore; and add a list of things Bush I did to attack Dukakis. I'll guarantee we will see those same subject matter being thrown at Kerry. But, rather than just crafting responses, the idea is to strike Bush on those subjects first which leaves any countercharges weak, ineffective and seemingly just made up. I'll give an example - sorry that it's ugly but the Bush's play the game at the ugly level (always have).

They had "operatives" (that way keep their hands clean)spread rumors in S. Carolina that McCain's black adopted child was really McCain's love child. Therefore, you can go to the bank that we will hear that Kerry has love children in Nam. Kerry 'operatives' need to dust off and re-circulate the info around during 2000 about old girlfriend from young days that Bush knocked up and paid for an abortion (when abortion was illegal). In other words, that takes it to Bush before he can strike. Again, I emphasize that this is what "operatives" do, while candidate stays lilly white--just like the Bush's have always played the game. They need to do this with every point on the list because Bush will definitely go 'retro' in his bag of tricks. It's totally predictable. Expect attacks on wife (Kitty was a drunk; McCain's wife a drug addict), etc. Expect affairs (Clinton). Expect soft on criminals (Willy Horton). Stop them in advance and they run out tricks and bags.

1. Kerry is responding quickly to Bush's lies and attacks
I've noticed how fast Kerry is at answering Bush's charges....That's where Gore sort of fell down on the job...He let Bush get away with defining him....

3. Yes, hit him hard and run
That's what I like about the Kerry campaign so far. He isn't letting the personal attacks go without a quick response. I believe him when he says he is a fighter. Teresa Heinz Kerry has a lot of fight in her too, in my opinion.

Now who would make a good VP choice for a tag team?

23. Totally....
... I'm hoping he keeps this up.

I think Gore thought he could take the "high road" and not answer some of the more ridiculous charges. That did not work. If someone calls you a murderer and you say nothing, there are some who will believe that you are.

I think everyone knows now that all allegations and complaints must be addressed quickly and forcefully.

But, not as dark as a typical African or African-American... so, it gave people a bit to think about if she looked like she was possibly a mixed race baby.

5. Here an interesting anomaly
Hehe!! You guys should have seen this... and I should have actually sasved a copy of the page. I checked out Hannity.com on Sunday and on Monday early morning.

The poll ques was.. who do you think is politicizing 9/11.. obviously with all the crap he's spewing on his show he expected a 'sheeple' answer. The poll has spoken:

140000 votes (Approx):
56% Repubs politicize 9/11
31% Dems
14% both
4% or so = Neither.

So thats a whopping 70% of pollsters who think that GOP politicizes 9/11.. Talk about poetic justice.. karma and all that!!!!!!!

naturally none of this was mentioned on mondays show, although he went on and on about how crybaby we are when we protested bush ads.

6. Does anyone have information, a list, or website where
Dubya's multitude of 'flip-flops' are listed? I can recall a few:
the 'justification' of our invasion of Iraq, his abandonment of his campaign promise to regulate power plant emissions, and his projections of jobs to be created in 2004.

9. I want to re-emphasize not just responding fast but attacking on those
areas we know Bush will bring into this campaign. Like I said, we will hear that Kerry has a 'Nam love child---so let operatives start going back into the story of Bush's girlfriend and the abortion. We have to disarm him before he throws the crap out in the first place.

14. Speaking of a debate
Can you picture GWB and John Kerry side by side in the first debate? Bush will have to stand on a milk crate to look "presidential" next to Kerry. Kerry will blow him away in a debate, since we all know that Bush can't speak proper English and can not "think on his feet".

16. Don't underestimate Bush!
We need to point out how well he did in the 2000 debates!

(Not really, but W*'s expectations were so f-ing low that as long as he didn't look like Jack Nicholson at the end of "The Shining", he came out ahead, while Gore was chastised for rolling his eyes instead of really going in for the kill...so, the media annointed him the winner)

We need to play up that Bush has that down-home charm about him that makes him come across well in debates.

had conversation with 6 year old last nite. he was in trouble for being disrespectful in school adn went in to talk about another kid being disrespectful. doesnt work i say. we are talking you. i am not a believer in shifting to the other person. i say bush lies, and a repug say so does clinton they all do. i am not talking about all i am talking bush

so i think kerry clearly makes his position on those. if he sees the error of his way, own it, if it is cause that vote on defense was all pork, put it out and show it. and show the responsibility in throwing the bill out

25. Kerry learned from Gore being Gored
Gore played nice guy and "let us discuss only issues".

The "credibility gap" issue was allowed to be used in debates and all over airwaves.

They were lies. Yet, he did not fight.

Kerry will hit Bush hard if he tries such junk in a debate with him. Bush will stagger all over the stage. He is used to hearing things he wants to hear. He cannot stand criticism. He is immature . He is spoiled. He cannot think, speak. read or write with a degree of normalcy.

KO him Kerry.
