The Goat Book, Bush*, 9/11, and the Supposed "Threat" to Smirk
Help me remember this. The morning of the goat book reading to school children, he sits there while the country is under attack and is unavailable to order civilian planes shot down to stop further attacks (at the time, I believe, only the president could order such a thing). After the reading thingy, he hops on Air Force One, skedaddles to Barksdale AFB in Shreveport, makes a brief shakey statement and sneaks off to Montana or some such place to a bunker.

Now, Condisleeza Rice said later that he had to run and hide because they had "credible evidence" the pretzledent was under attack. But, he didn't leave the school early and stop the goat book reading because he didn't want to "alarm the children".

It just occurred to me that if they thought the pretzledent was under attack, shouldn't they have "alarmed the children" by leaving early to get him away from the children in case he really was under attack?

I mean, these two statements don't seem to be reconcilable. What am I missing?

Thanks in advance.

1. Nebraska: Home of the Bush Spider Hole
He ran and hid in a hole!

Their story doesn't hold up under scrutiny.

3. If you go to whatreallyhappened.com...
You can see full minute-by-minute timelines and further refutation of all the official statements.

Also, visit thememoryhole.com to see the goat book video that you can't find elsewhere.

4. you are trying to figure it out, that is your problem
Don't you understand, there are two Americas, one for the people with brains and logical reasoning and one for the Freepers, who believe everything * or the vulgar pig boy, etc., tell them without trying to figure out if it makes sense. They think he has clothes because they were told he has clothes.
In our America, there is no spoon.

5. there was an early claim that AF1 was a target
supposedly someone had the secret codes or whatever, but they later said that this was bullshit

terrorists will avoid killing Bush while at a public appearance, in a school full of children, but they would chase down AF1 in a civilain airliner and crash into it? Please :eyes: Not even Ari could sell that snake-oil, it was just another bullshit story to add "color" to the thing. A nice, but failed, attempt at misdirection

If Clinton had tried that lame 'alarm the children' excuse, he would've been chased down by pitchfork-weilding citizens and lynched where he stood. And rightly so.

The SS seemed conspicuously absent during all of that. Bush himself even said that, after "seeing" the first plane hit, he was "whisked" away- to the classroom, to start his book-reading :puke:

8. I think using children for a photo op
during a terrorist attack is a much bigger abuse of power than getting a bj in a bathroom closet.

6. The "credible threat" baloney
was that Air Force One was in danger from attack. It was hooey. And it goes nowhere in explaining why the dipshit became a rumor for 3 days, until swaggering triumphantly into NYC for his bullhorn schtick.

17. When I saw the clip of the school, I expect to see...
the CIA jump on top of bush to protect him and run him off to safety. Never expected that he would waste 20 more minutes reading a stupid goat story. Cheney ordered the Pennsylvania jet shot down, and to hide how he killed the people on board, they made some of the passengers into heroes...dead heroes killed by Cheney.

At the same time, out of the blue sky our great leaders were informed that Ossama BinLaden was behind the attack. Worse, the coward traitors of the White House, rounded up the whole BinLaden family living in the US and escorted them in a private jet out of the country. Why didn't Cheney ordered the BinLaden family jet shot down? Afterall, the country was at a standstill and no airplanes were allowed to fly in or out of the US. How did the bushies know that it was a BinLaden? Yet a few months after, they turned around and attacked Iraq. These bushies and cheney are the worse criminals of modern history.

15. Yes
It's called "Bush Knew" and it is quite chilling. Here it is:

Also, go to the following link, scroll down past the list of sections and look at a detailed timeline of that day:

10. What you're missing is chilling
Several people could have ordered interceptor planes into the air, but Bush was the only one who could order civilian aircraft shot down.

What the films show is Bush sitting there, being told of the second crash, and continuing to sit there, as though he'd just been told his fresh suit would be delayed 10 minutes by the hotel concierge. It is chilling. He didn't say "'scuse me" and leave to get more information. He didn't leave to do his damn job. He sat there. When the kiddies had finished reading, a full 15 minutes later, Bush continued his photo op act, smiling at the kiddies and taliking to them as though nothing out of the ordinary had gone on.

The film is damning. I sincerely hope it is broadcast some time before the election, even if the DNC has to shoot its whole budget to do so. They don't need to comment on it. They just need to show everyone what a callous, incompetent SOB the Supreme Court appointed.

I just wonder what those kids thought about it later that day.

16. I'd be satisfy is New Yorkers through bush off...
the Brooklyn Bridge. Innocent people were jumping off the burning towers and the bright president was smiling as if nothing was happening to our nation. Now he has the b*lls to use footage for such an awful attack to get elected. May the people of New York City throw him off the Brooklyn bridge, after they spit on his face.

13. Couple that
with the recent video of his "It's time for politics" reaction to a question about his foreknowledge of 911 and you've got a pretty compelling demonstration of a guy who's guilty and knows he's guilty.

20. Reading all the bits together . . .
I got this from buzzflash searching "Bush knew"

http://www.buzzflash.com/perspectives/911bush.html

It seems like they knew for sure that something was going to happen on 9/11. Top officials canceled commercial flights a couple of days before.

Bush: ‘We’re At War’
September 24th, 2001

"On Sept. 10, NEWSWEEK has learned, a group of top Pentagon officials suddenly canceled travel plans for the next morning, apparently because of security concerns."

I think the msnbc link is old.

Willie Brown got low-key early warning about air travel
September 12, 2001

For Mayor Willie Brown, the first signs that something was amiss came late Monday when he got a call from what he described as his airport security - - a full eight hours before yesterday's string of terrorist attacks -- advising him that Americans should be cautious about their air travel.
