What Bush will say during the October Surprise |
|
Don't think that because we predict it that it won't happen. Bush WILL most likely capture Bin Laden. If we say after the capture that he planned to capture him at that moment he can do one of two things
1) Say that the Democrats are accusing the president of putting American lives in danger by not capturing Bin Laden early enough. Yes, I know that the accusations will probably be true; but so are the accusations about him lying about WMD. 2) Say that the Democrats are politicizing the war on terror.

I read someplace that Osama was extremely ill. Wasn't it his kidneys? They would have us believe that Osama is running all over the hills and jumping over streams. They are making people believe that when we find him it will be surely bring us complete Homeland Security.
I wish I could believe that but I think Osama is a shell of who he was before. They need to be looking for his hundreds of replacements.
Don't these clowns realize that people that feel they have nothing to loss will do anything! Bushco is trying to put their values on everyone in the third world. They are completely out of touch.
There was an amazing film that came out during the Civil Rights era. It was called "The Battle Of Algiers." If it ever comes out again you should see it.

I don't really want Osama to be captured. I want him to be forgotten about. I think Al Qaeda is under the control of the CIA and other intelligence agencies, but if Osama is captured then rogue jihadists with no affiliation with Osama might do crazy shit.
I don't want to get into talking about the French colonization of Algiers and the war under Charles DeGaulle, the greatest European leader of the 20th century. As a Jew of Algerian origin I owe DeGaulle and France a lot. France was the most benevolent European colonial power. Algeria wasn't a colony like how Britain treated its colonies. Algeria was France. When Chirac visits Algeria people cheer in the streets and give him flowers. I don't want to hear any garbage about France. It hits too close to home.

Even if they catch bin Laden (I think he's dead personally) the way they have been bungling things they'll manage to screw it up somehow. They are a bunch of arrogant assholes who believe their own propaganda. I'm amazed to think that we once thought that Rove was some sort of political genius!

To undercut Bush, the surprise must be spoiled. Spread it far and wide: Osama will be caught because it's politically expedient. Tell Americans they're being played. At first they won't believe you, and then they won't stand for it.
