"Die Kriegslüge" (= "The War Lie"), Title story this week in STERN

Most interesting story. STERN is one of the big 3 weekly german magazines with FOCUS being more right wing and SPIEGEL more to the left of STERN. I´m quite surprised actually that they´d bring a story like that. I hope someone can translate all this, it´s 9 pages and all in german obviously.

1. Wasn't there a similar Spiegel-story some time ago?

What I find remarkable is that the word "lie" is possible to use if referring to the Iraq war justification. But it is taboo to only hint at discrepancies if referring to the events of Sept. 11.

It's sort of hard to read, but the general gist comes out. It's kinda funny that "dick" translates to "thickly" in German, so Dick Cheney is referred to as Thickly Cheney!
