Please Tell Me What Bush Did After 9/ll that makes people say he's a great |
|
leader? I just don't get it.
ANY leader of this country would have done at least as much and, most likely, alot more than he did.
Al Gore would have taken control and charge on Moment one instead of cowering behind schoolchildren and bunkers.
Is engaging us in an illegal war great leadership? Please will someone tell me what it is that the right sees in this man as far as leadership is concerned.

1. He showed the "towelheads" that they couldn't push us around... |
|
Of course that didn't help all the dead or their survivors, but it sure made a lot of freepers happy as a crack whore with a pipeful.

2. Have asked the same question several times. He did nothing at all that |
|
any other president would not have done. He didn't even show up in NYC until 4 days later or some damn thing...running away, most likely, as is his habit.

3. While * was hiding in a hole... his minions started shouting the meme: |
|
"Bush is a great leader!"
We all know that their coordinated message manipulation was their only strength... until Kerry and the Dems started calling them on their utter bullshit.

The wealthy Repubs think of him as a Good 'old Rich Boy that will take care of all the Good 'old Rich Boys.
The Middle Class and Poor Repubs think that he is straight talking and down to earth just like they are. Therefor they think he cares a out them.
Ha!

With the entire resources of the US military at his command, the President went to hide in a bunker in Nebraska, rather than acting like a man and leading this country. I would have ordered a fighter escort for AF1 and flown to NYC immediately. Kerry, Clark, or any of the Democrats would have done the same thing. Bush is a coward and has demonstrated his cowardice throughout his life.

There is nothing reich-wingers love more than a good ol' fashion war.
Look at why they admire GHWBush - he started a war.
and reagan had his conflicts.
I firmly believe the reason they hated Clinton so much was that he was not quick enough to pull the trigger. He actually tried to avoid it.
That is not the reich-wing way.
What do they mean by "support our troops"?
If you truly supported our troops, wouldn't you try to end this thing and bring them home? Not to the reich-wingers. You support the troops by supporting war! That's crazy.

9. a 'real' president would have investigated 9/11 |
|
aggressively and head would have rolled for the greatest intelligence failure in american history.
a 'real' president would have stood before the american people and explain what went wrong and how he was taking the steps to correct it.
and we damn sure wouldn't still be waiting over TWO YEARS later.
9/11 was the BEST THING that ever happened to the insipid chimp. he slept great that night. he hit the TRIFECTA!
and he's done NOTHING but stonewall any investigation of his precious blessing

10. He's a Republican. That's enough to make THEM say he's a great leader |
|
That's the problem with Republicans. They all sit around telling each other how great they are, and then they start to believe it. What a strange little world they live in.

11. People were terrified |
|
and had a need to see the Shrubbery as someone wise, strong snd brave who could protect us all. Basically, they reverted to little children who needed a big strong daddy to keep away the boogey man, and checked their intellects at the door.
