Vote Kerry in...then get progressive for real.
Yes,I will vote against Nader and go with Kerry...what choice have I,but here is something we can all do to force the pandering democrats to stand up for true progressive politics. After Kerry wins get behind Nader and be a watch dog for democracy. Don't act like repugs...don't stick your head in the sand...thats how we got in this postion in the first place. You are going to have to be patriots for real...which sometimes means doing the hard thing...democracy isn't free, you gotta work for it. You got to see things for how they are...take off the rose-colored glasses and call a spade a spade. You know I'm right...come on...help bring democracy back...be a patriot...we are in the fight for our lives and for democratic principles. Don't do the easy thing...if you take the easy route then all is lost. Vote Kerry, then be a watch dog.

1. Nader is a fraud and hardly an example of being "progressive" but
once Kerry is President, I don't have a problem with people being unhappy with some of his policies and trying to change them.

Actually governing, something the moron Nader will never have to face, is much different than carping, and undoubtably President Kerry will make honest mistakes and require citizen input. The difference between Kerry and Bush however is that Bush makes ONLY mistakes; they are all dishonest; and Bush doesn't give a shit about citizen input.

I can say this, anything that comes from the hypocritical CNN corporate shill Nader will ALWAYS be regarded with suspicion by me.

2. Incredible..do you really believe that shit?
You gotta be a republican posing as democrat or are you just that uninformed...or is it misguided sour-grapes? Do I need to educate you on Nader's career? His whole career has been about being citizen number 1. Fighting for the little guy against incredible odds...do you think he has beening fooling us for over 30 years while secrectly being a conservative the whole time. Yeah...and the earth is flat.

The "little difference between parties" argument is disingenuous...
...especially when you consider that Kerry voted along the lines of one of Nader's organizations 27 out of 29 times:

i'll fill you in on the fact that this isn't a real progressive place, and you will find plenty of DUers that repeat the most ridiculous lies about nader.

that being said, when kerry wins, most dems will smile a satisfied smile, pull the covers back over they little heads, and go back to sleep as the country continues, albiet somewhat slower, its drift to the right just like it was doing during the era of st. william of clinton.

3. I'm already unhappy with Kerry's chickenshit gay marriage stance.
Civil service doesn't provide diddly squat for couples, it's a joke. And for him not to stand up for basic civil rights really sucks. Though I am assuming, at least hoping that he is taking this stand to try and pander to the broadest amount of voters.

Never the less, I wish that he would just be strong on all fronts. BTW I am a straight man who believes in all causes of civil rights and liberties, and feel that the African American community is really dropping the ball on the gay marriage issue.

6. OK if you hate Nader that much form your own ....
citizen groups. I don't care how ya do...just do it. We could form a citizens group right here. The Women's Movement began when 13 women got together in a barn in upstate NY and look what it blossomed into....are ya gonna be so partisan that you lose the country in the prosess?
