I was very glad that I joined the poor in a NO Permits and no holds barred march on the Capital...on the anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr.'s "I have a dream" speech....the best march I ever participated in...I am not poor, but it moved me greatly to join such a great group of people...we marched and sang and cheered and smiled together....we set up "BUSHVILLE on the National Mall" and were arrested for insulting bush*....

"There are millions of poor people in this country who have very little, or even nothing, to lose. If they can be helped to take action together, they will do so with a freedom and a power that will be a new and unsettling force in our complacent national life..."
--Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., "The Trumpet of Conscience", 1967
