Blair must be shitting razors now
First a bombing in Spain killing hundreds and then an election where the people held the ruling party responsible for the terrorist attack.

How many Brits will be killed because of Blair supporting Bush and sending troops to Iraq. And when will it happen.

Poor poodle, he must be in a fit over Spain right now

Maybe he is on his meds and does not care, but the Labor Party will be very hurt it a terrorist attack come to Britain.

2. He needs to step down for the good of the party.
But he won't. He's been infected with neo-con selfishness.

IRAQ WAR PREPARATION WAS A ‘SHAMBLES’

Brian Brady, Westminster Editor

The British campaign in Iraq was crippled by "shambolic" preparations that led directly to the deaths of servicemen in the field, a damning report by MPs will declare this week.

The extensive review - which represents the most damaging criticism yet of the war - finds that defence chiefs committed a raft of planning blunders and mistakes in the lead-up to war, leaving their troops hopelessly exposed to attack.

The MPs conclude that their failures led directly to the death of at least one British serviceman - tank commander Steven Roberts, who was shot dead during a riot after he had been forced to give up crucial ceramic plates from his body armour.

The report, written by Westminster’s Labour-dominated Defence Committee, is published this week on the eve of the first anniversary of last year’s strikes on Iraq.

5. And there's the story about the dodgy legal basis for the war.

The United States told Britain to get a new legal opinion to back war in Iraq after Foreign Office experts had advised that military action would be illegal without a second UN resolution, a senior government source has revealed.

Unfortunately you have to pay to to read the rest of the article.

6. I wish it were true
But I think Blair is in a pretty safe situation. The Tories aren't coming back for a while. And Labour doesn't have the courage to oust his sorry ass.

You are correct though. A major terrorist attack will really hurt the Labour party the most.

8. What the hell happened to Blair?
I loved this guy until he started going into lockstep with Bushco on the Iraq war. Such a shame.

9. I don't quite agree
Spaniards were pissed at Aznar for going to war with Bush in the first place. Last year, some of the biggest anti-war rallies were held in Spain. These people didn't need Osama bin Laden to tell them how to vote.

I'm also reading the Guardian's article on the election in the other Window. It says that Spaniards are upset with Aznar for hiding the truth about last weeks' attacks, the truth being that it was al Qaida and not the ETA.

Spaniards probably don't like being lied to by their government any more than Americans.

Either way, the actual bombing probably didn't affect the outcome of the election as much as the war and the perception of lying in the aftermath of the bombing.

11. If only he litterally was "sh**ing" razors
That would be a start, but he deserves worse, much worse, for what his lying has put the world through.
