All you need for the tickets is a driver's license. Democrats who support the president in his fight against terrorism and for his creation of jobs are welcome, but no trouble-makers need apply.

No kidding. That's what it said on the news, well, paraphrased.

1. ooh! Get some tickets and organize a stealth protest!
Wait until the cameras are on and then start booing. You could yell "Liar" every time he tells a lie but your voice would go hoarse.

5. The organizer was directly asked by the news reporter if Democrats were
welcome, and the organizer,(who had a soft cuban accent) was the one who said that Democrats... blah, blah, blah ... but, please, no troublemakers.

8. Just saw it on Central Florida News 13.
The reporter said there were several locations throughout the city. They gave two locations but I wasn't really paying too much attention. Looked like local Republican headquarters.

12. Thanks, I'll check it out.
In the area this week......little paranoid about the driver license requirement, though.

15. My guess is they want to make sure they attract locals and not
out-of-state "trouble-makers" like the Republican goons that descended upon Miami during the last presidential election.

4. Don't forget the last time that happened
3 protesters holding Anti-Bush signs and gay buttons were pointed out to a police officer by a repub supporter and arrested. For trespassing. And they had tickets to this "public" event.

6. Here's what it said in the paper; sounds like the Dem's are NOT
welcome in the least!!
<snip>
A Bush rally is taking place at the Orange County Convention Center. About 12,000 tickets arrived Monday.

Tuesday, at 10am, those tickets will be available to republicans and independents, but not democrats.

"We want to watch it 'cause the last time, I think there was some democrats that got in here and took a whole fist-full of tickets. We're not gonna have it this time," says David Copeland, office manager.

9. Well, now they're waffling.
The guy who was interviewed definitely said Dems were welcome as long as they support the president.

11. well that settles it then...
he isn't MY president! not that there was any doubt before, but there is no way we can live under the law of this asshole. that they could even SUGGEST who is welcome to see our glorious leader based on party affiliation is just too much.

i guess we'll have to count on the pissed off repugs and independants, s'ok, there's plenty of them too.

13. The only surprise is . . .
that the tickets are free. Usually even shrub's supporters have to pay to see him. What a piece of shit he is, nicht wahr?
