Has anyone read any of the others?

Worse Than Watergate: The Secret Presidency of George W. Bush
The Bush - Haters Handbook: A Guide to the Most Appalling Presidency of the Past 100 Years
The Wesley Clark Story: A Different Kind of General
House of Bush, House of Saud : The Secret Relationship Between the World's Two Most Powerful Dynasties

1. Body of Secrets is excellent - tonnes of great stuff |

on "No Such Agency" & Cold-War history in general. (FWIW, Bamford's got a new book coming out in a few months called "A Pretext for War: 9-11, the Iraq War & the Abuse of Intelligence" which by all accounts will slam Chimpy hard.)
I've been reading the Salon extracts from "House of Bush, House of Saud" & can't wait till it gets released over here (sadly not till May).
I'm probably going to wait till John Dean's book is in paperback & doing the 2nd hand rounds & didn't even know about the Clark book.
I'm just about to start reading Daniel Yergin's "The Prize: The Epic Quest for Oil, Money & Power" which is a (slightly dated now, 1991) history of oil which seems so relevant to today's shenannigans.

2. Thanks for the heads up |

on the new Bamford book. I doubt I'll be finished with the above 5 but, I'll order it when it comes out. I'm trying to keep up.
I've amassed quite a library of political books over the past 2 years thanks to the Chimp. My favorites are 'The Hunting of the President' and 'Blinded by the Right'. They put in perspective what we're up against. Can't believe I was so naive.
I'm about 3/4 through 'Fraud' by Paul Waldman. It's good but, pretty much a rehash of what I've read in various other books and here on DU.

...imagining a Kerry/Clark adminstration.
I have read two of our darling Wes's books -- Waging Modern War and Winning Modern war -- is there another one coming out?
My fave so far -- Kevin Phillips book on the Bush Dynasty. Deeply enlightening, deeply scary. Ties lots of threads together, if you know what I mean... and this is coming from a mainstream histrorian and Nixon administration guy....check it out. Ha ha -- there was stuff on the internet I thought was a little too weird to be true, but (GULP!), Professor Phillips acknowledges that we have been on the right path all along....
