I think that the fact that there were nine Dems to start with signifies something very important. Democrats broke into factions to support each of the nine candidates, and this reminds me of something Lord Elrond says in "Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring:"
"Each of us is bound to this fate, this ONE doom...You will unite or you will fall."
Kinda goofy, I know, but does anyone see the parallels?

Hope the greens see it as well.
I'm a huge Dean supporter, but you can't win 'em all. I am increasingly comfortable with Kerry as the nominee. He's done well so far.

Reminds me of the folks that have the Eye of Sauron photoshopped over a picture of the White House... we know what we're up against, and we have an enemy that will stoop to anything to stay in power.
