1. Absolutely Amazing
The Spanish Elections and the courage of their new P.M. is really the start of something big - this is such bad news for Shrub. The Europeans and the Canadians may save us all yet.

Thanks to Poland!

12. Not so fast. He's not in any hurry to pull his troops out.
Story I saw on another thread here said he felt it would be a bad idea to call the Polish troops home. So he needs to put his money where his mouth is. Apparently he gave in to bush because bush promised him money for machinery or some such thing. Coalition of the Bribed and Purchased.

2. Good!
They should have never employed their troops in the first place. But I guess they were giving shrubnuts the benefit of the doubt. What a bunch of suckers.

5. Actually...
....Poland got some new F-16 fighters at a good price, so there was no benefit of the doubt, it would be like tit-for-tat.

If the Polish leave, maybe Shrub could get those troops replaced by
Palau, the Solomon Islands, and the Marshall Islands. After all they're part of the "Coalition of the Willing" too.

Looks like we're doing a bang-up job with regime-change!

BTW, does anybody know what Polish public opinion on the IW was just over a year ago?

We still have El Salvador don't we?

8. a little late
He could have been more sceptical from the beginning, shielded by the "big" European nations, Poland's stance would have been largely ignored.
But no: He used this war in a gamble to establish his nation. I understand the goal, but can't accept the means.
And now, being left alone by Spain, Poland faces a most difficult situation in the EU and in Iraq.
Not to mention that he is doing really bad in the Polls.

11. Now....
...the media can figure out for themselves (as if they didn't already know) who the foreign leaders who support Kerry are...instead of badgering him into breaking a confidence. Now that they've got this taken care of...they can get on to something more important like badgering that pork chop gnawing weasel (AKA Cheney) for the names of the people at his infamous Energy Task Force meeting.
