"Thousands Cheer As Bush Mocks Kerry"
Is that a responsible headline? It comes directly from the CNN homepage. While technically true, I guess, what would you expect when dissenters are stuck off in some Orwellian thing called a "free-speech zone?"

1. "Mocks" is not a very nice thing to say.
I think it's an anti-Bush headline.

23. could you imagine the reverse headline?
"Thousands cheer as Kerry mocks Bush"

For some reason that's not a headline I think we'll be seeing anytime soon, and not only because Kerry will not be mocking Bush...

5. That is BS, thousands also cheer when Kerry talks about the evils of this
administration. Just because the news is giving Kerry a bum wrap at the moment people are still going to see him in droves. I can't wait until we can go see him/ or any of our 9 candidates. I probably won't give Lieberman the time of day but if Dean, Edwards, Clark, Braun, or Clinton comes within a days drive, we are going to see them.

Democrats have had to sit back for the last 12 years and listen to their junk. The media is one of the least trustworthy jobs in the country, dems are on to them. We are uniting like never before and it feels great. I'm sorry that you feel left out.

Kerry has been doing great lately and he is going to kick major butt when he goes on the news circuit. I can't wait!

I'm sorry that you feel the way you do about Kerry, but he is really connecting with a lot of Democrats and the more * makes JFK references, the more we are reminded of why we are democrats in the first place. The repubs are so stupid, their arrogance is going to be their achilles heel. The more arrogant they look the more transparent they are. Plus, I think that they are all probably hitting the bottle and/or mirror pretty hard these days.

I hope you reconsider Kerry, he has earned my respect.

6. It will all come out in the wash.
There were so many pictures published today of the protests and Bush depicted as Hitler. Maybe the media thought Bush needed the tiniest of boosts today. They seem to like him.

13. Bill Maher said it best
I forget the exact words, but the gist was that if you are the president, you are the CENTER around which all of the "inside" revolves. You can't be anymore inside.

15. Agreed, but I think Gore Vidal said it best
when he said that Bush is our "Caligula" and that he finds himself in this seat of unparalleled power, so he abuses it for his own ends.

17. I would not worry.
We have far more material to work from than Does Bush. Want to get into a smirky game of who is the bigger idiot, I know we Dems will win that one...Kerry know how to make stupid faces.

18. If that's true he just energized more Democrats by that headline
than he did by preaching to the choir with his mocking of Kerry.

And negative campaigning is a turn off to undecided voters. This worm will turn against him.

Why must he go negative so early, hmmmm?

22. Bush is using schoolyard bully tatics; Mocking, distractions, deception,
deciet, etc; Bush has nothing else. His record reveals an unbalanced approach in handling the Nation. Thus his problem, no pos ammo. only the neg kind.
