Saw her on Today this morning. What's up with her head bobble. It was driving me crazy.
I'm afraid from now on you will not be able to watch her without saying ... "She's a fucking Bobble Head".
Cheers Drifter

This is all about damage control over Richard Clarke's book, which was released today. They are trying to pin the blame on him and the Clinton administration. I loved the response by Wes Clark right after she was finished. He was dead on. He should be Veep!

20. Immediately following the Condi Rice spot... |
|
Ann Curry interviewed Wes Clark, and he basically said that Condi Rice was trying to shift the blame onto Richard Clarke and the Clinton Administration, disingeniuously. He quoted Harry Truman, saying that on matters of National Security, the Buck stops at the President. She went supersonic with shrill, trying to interrupt him, saying that he supported the war in Iraq, to which he corrected her, and she replied "Well, John Kerry did." See the thread about Wes Clark for more.

16. I hate it when she smiles with that look on her face that says |
|
"Why am I sitting here having to explain adult matters to the children"? "This is so tiring". "Don't you children know how important my time is"? "DON'T YOU KNOW WHO I AM"? grrrrrrrrrr

4. Will she snap like on ABC--'He doesn't know what he is talking about" |
|
Charles Gibson said that is what she said in the part of the interview that they cut away from for local updates. He said that she said that and would air it in the 8:00 half hour, I missed it.

13. That was so weird... was ABC was trying to help Rice? |
|
Why would they have a long commercial break like that during her interview? The break was around five minutes long!

6. here's why I think they're having Condi do this |
|
despite her poor performances.
They think that because she's the president's national security advisor, and was not subject to confirmation by Congress, she is immune from having to testify, including under oath. So she can go out and spread the lies.
She can lie with impunity in a way that others can't.
But I think their assumptions are wrong. The Dems MUST push the issue of her refusing to testify. If she's able to say all of this on TV, why can't she say it under oath to the 9/11 commission?
(Okay, that's a rhetorical question, but let's just keep pushing it!)

11. I was just watching... |
|
on GMA and she was about to be asked another question and the signal was cut...straight to a commercial...???
that was weird...
she is trying to shift the blame and discredit Clarke...she knew that there was a plot...she knew that 16 hi-jackers were in this country...she said so herself in her Washington Post op-ed piece...
she's lying...the damage is done...they are going to have a hard time with this one...

her comment following 9/11? I believe she said something to the effect: "I don't think we could have ever expected this" Does anyone remember the exact quote?

She does that a lot. Another tell-tale sign of her lying is when she opens her mouth.

"we have a different view of how to fight terror"...
Yeah, one guy wants to stop it at the source with the greatest thread and tries to convince the others to do the same.
The others want to expand US interests in the ME, and if OBL provides a good tool to make that possible, so much the better, irrespective of his position at the top of the dangerous terrorists list.
November can't come fast enough.
