1. I hope Stewart opens with the Bush slide show.
His show last Thursday was one of the best I ever saw.

Anyone know how Jon's rating compare to Hannity and O'Really?

2. IIRC, Jon gets more viewers than all of FOX News
but I may have that wrong... maybe it's more than any individual FOX program..?

3. The Simpson's is probably FOX's #1 show
And that show kicks Republican-fundie-Bush ass regularly.

7. That's a different channel
Edited on Thu Mar-25-04 10:31 PM by truthseeker1
the comparison would be between The Daily Show and Fox News (on the separate Fox News cable channel). (The Fox channel that The Simpsons is on is network.)

on edit: And I know you're probably going to hate this, but American Idol is Fox's top-rated show - HUGELY top-rated, like with 26 million viewers!

9. Jon Stewart's got the best show on television
now if he could an earlier time slot - 11PM ET is a little late - but i make the sacrifice most nights and stay up.

Cheney's task force never met?
I hadn't heard that before. In fact, I'd about forgotten about Cheney's 'counter terrorism task force', probably because they never really spoke much about it after May 2001.

21. Seemed pretty 'anti-Bush'.
It was pretty condescending and mocking of the Chimpster, no question about it.

Besides, don't you think advertisers on the Daily Show know its audience?

22. anti-bush
I thought that was weird to? Bass a liberal beer? I wondered what would happen if one major commerical company just said ah what the hell we are just going to go after liberals.
