2. He's on WPTT in Pittsburgh |
|
and is another sanctimonious lying bush apologist. He lies through his teeth spouting "statistics" that are out and lies. WPTT had a special all-day broadcast at a local mall in which they pit Bowyer against our local liberal talk show host, Lynn Cullen. He was arrogant and rude to the point that people in the audience were booing and shouting him down.
Check out Lynn Cullen though. She is one tough cookie. There is a direct link to her show at the top of the "Latest" page on DU. Her show airs from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

3. Skidmore--where you watching earlier |
|
...way at the beginning where Lamb started the show and had calls on fighting terrorism?? I finally had to turn it off----I've never done that before with C-Span, because Lamb was obnoxiously rooting out every article he could that damned Clarke and anything that promoted Bush. At one point (where he is suppose to not interject personal observations, etc.) he did read a NY Times piece about massive sales of the books. He tossed the paper aside and said that it was selling big in New York, California, etc. but was hardly selling a copy in places like Houston, etc. Why didn't he just come out and say: gosh repukes please don't worry..only the liberal nuts in the liberal states are reading this so it won't effect out beloved president getting back into office. He had no variety of news articles and wad definitely on a mission this morning and that mission was to be part of the war on Clarke. Now that Bush is in trouble, I'm wondering where Pedro and the black host are???---they seem to be loading the place with repukes since the kick off of the Bush campaign.

4. They don't call it "Fascist Friday" for nuttin' |
|
Today's show proves that. Brian Lamb is either interviewing someone from the Washington "Moonie" Times or having some "expert" from the American Enterprise Institute, or sucking up to Drudge or Lucianne Goldberg, or taking calls from people who rant and rave about the media being too liberal. In between, he reads only from right-wing rags and challenges every rational caller to offer specific points (like they're a candidate setting forth their platform), or cuts them off if they say something he doesn't approve of. Remember the days before the AWOL story became national news? You couldn't even hear the entire phrase before he cut the callers off and said he wasn't going to entertain such nonsense. But call up and rail about Clinton, or Hillary, or about how they consorted with extra-terrestials to control the universe, and he was all ears.

5. I saw a bit of it but I had to run down to the lab to |

check on something. It sounds as though I didn't miss anything that wouldn't have raised my blood pressure.

7. He can't be too informed.... |

He didn't know that Ashcroft had requested not to fly commercial before 9/11. He said it that were true, it would be a very explosive story.

He funded a think tank for him called the Allegheny Institute. Bowyer's claim to fame is defeating a stadium tax referendum. We still got the stadia. He also a religious nut. When you call him, he'll hang up on you in the middle of an argument and keep talking to you like you're still there.
