Twisted Gretta Faux-News Poll: Shame On Bush!
OMG -- the Faux News site question on the WMD "jokes" has "shame on him" as part of the negative response. LOL!! Only like 15% of Fox-ers shaming Bush. They are too much.

Other responses are "it was perfectly acceptable in a social situation" "I found it inappropriate but don't hold it against the President" (um, why not?) and the unbelievable "I found the jokes very funny!"

VERY funny?? OMG...

2. I don't understand how anyone can think it's funny
Even if it was 'just a social event'... He is making fun of the reason he gave to send people to die. That's not funny.

6. They find it funny because it's not them or theirs
actually being in danger. They also have little to no compassion or empathy--that's what make them so scary.

3. I wonder if those people
who found it funny would be able to look the dead soldier's family members in the eye and say that, and whether they'd still think it was funny if it was one of THEIR family members who'd been killed! What SICK MOTHERFUCKERS!

5. What does that say about people who watch Fox
They are complete inconsiderate idiots. I wonder if they even understood the question. Maybe they are at Georgie's reading level and didn't get it.

10. It's a good result, and honest

It reflects the fact that right-wingers don't really care about how or why their leaders start wars. There's nothing surprising in that.

Those kinds of questions are literally meaningless to most righties and by extension to American corporate journalism too. The search for WMD is just a game to both of them. A game of 'gotcha'. There are very few right-wingers and almost no journalists that really care at all that the US built - that is, they helped build - a completely fabricated case to start a war. That has come through loud and clear in all the barely-interested post-war coverage of BushCo lies and treachery.

It is a joke to them, and that should be a Dem talking point.

Only 16% see anything really wrong with it, and I think the "shame on the president" is more of a tongue in cheek way of saying "no big deal"

17. I really do not understand the conservative reaction
I don't get it. How could they not find Bush's "joke" about WMDs offensive? Why? Do these people even stop to think about the 589 dead (according to the http://lunaville.org/warcasualties/Summary.aspx">Iraq Coalition Casualties web page.)

How would conservatives had reacted if Bill Clinton made a similar joke? Can you imagine if Clinton appeared at the correspondent's dinner not long after the bombing in Oklahoma City and said something like "Finally, something's happened to put Oklahoma City on the map!" Republicans would have exploded into rage over the "insensitive" comments. Yet they give Bush a pass, no matter what he does or what he says.

Right-wingers are evil, hateful people.

18. I was watching it, and found myself laughing,
until I realized what I was laughing about. It was almost like I was watching a parody of him on a SNL skit. But, gee, I don't think SNL would be dumb enough to joke about finding WMDs.
