Poll question: Will Democrats challenge disenfranshisement schemes in 2004? |
|
or will they cave again, like they did in 2000?

i don't know if you remember the atomosphere during the 2000 "crisis"...it was like people were *waiting* for some leadership. and we got..."i strongly disagree."
i don't think we'll be *waiting* in 2004.

the majority of the dem party will not challenge such anti-democratic schemes because they too are bought and paid for. there will be a few exceptions, thoes dems will be worthy of praise.

I advocate that we go door-to-door in Dem strongholds and give-out refrigerator magnets with a 1-800 number on them. Why magnets? People keep them in an easy-to-find place!
The 1-800 number would be for several reasons: 1) finding a polling place 2) voter registration information 3) reporting voter irregularities
We should consider this.. it wouldn't be that expensive..

and i do think it will take grassroots efforts like this, and the BBV efforts to make sure the powers that be pay attention this time.
