Once Again, Sean Hannity Caught In a Lie

For the past few weeks, Sean Hannity (and other conservative talk show hosts) have repeated the story that The Heinz Company has 57 factories in other countries; therefore, John Kerry is a hypocrite to lecture about outsourcing jobs when Heinz has been sending jobs overseas.

The Heinz Company has issued a press release setting the record straight. Basically, no one in the Heinz family (including Kerry's wife, Teresa) is employed by the company or even a member of their board of directors. And over 60% of the company's sales are overseas - the foreight factories were established to support product sales IN THOSE MARKETS. In other words, Heinz products sold in Englans are made in England; Heinz products sold in teh US are made in the US.

5. Another Fox slime "journalist" Jim Angle blurted out that Heinz was

an outsourcing corporation as he interviewed Kerry's economic adviser yesterday. Angle slyly slipped in the Heinz reference and then continued to rattle on so that the interviewee could not correct him without interupting.

Republicans resorting to same kind of so-called "class warfare" and "corporate-bashing" that they always accuse Dems of doing. You'd think Sean Inanity would love a successful American company like Heinz.
