Any comments on the Post Card size Letter from Bush* to Clarke
In Bush*'s own illegible scrawl. It was not on paper with the Presidential letterhead but an index card size scrap paper and it was a note from Bush* praising Clarke for everything he had done.It was an official reply to Clarke's resignation letter. Kind of throws a monkey wrench in their talking points that Clarke was un-liked and un-wanted. I found the note quite hilarious myself for the slovenly hand writing and the very undignified appearance. I was sort of surprised it didn't have doodling on it.

5. I believe that Clarke
Edited on Sun Mar-28-04 01:00 PM by mtnester
Has a whole lot of CYA material at home (uhhh. make that undisclosed location with instructions on what to do with it should something bad happen to him, and an auto mailer plan set to mail it to every member of the press around the world if something does...which is the very least I would have in place if I were outing something like this)

I am changing my tag line to say - All edits always for spelling

6. Anybody here ever do handwriting analysis?
Edited on Sun Mar-28-04 01:02 PM by Cat Atomic
I don't know if there's anything to handwriting analysis anyway, but I thought it was sort of funny that Bush's handwriting had those ridiculously big, looping descenders.

I read an article on handwriting analysis a few years ago, and the only thing I recall from it is that big descenders are the mark of a big ego.

I thought that was sort of funny.

11. The post card is standard issue
It is what Congress, Senate and WH use to write personal notes. It is enbossed and of very good quality. They use black or blue flair pens. Just because bush is a jerk that doesn't mean that the paper was not a very personal way to communicate. I would like to write him a note and say your a jack a.. bush.

12. It was standard Executive notepaper, apparently folded once
Edited on Sun Mar-28-04 01:15 PM by markus
It's the same cream laid executive paper I'm sure every body in DC uses for VIP corresondence.

Nothing unusual about it.
