KPAM has poor ratings? You mean Sean Insannity isn't doing it for them? When I first moved here in 2001 KPAM seemed like it was a center/left radion station, and then overnight it went hard right.

Now the choices in portland are, Rush, Hannity, Laura Ingraham, Michael Savage, Lars Larson. Victor Boc, And Neil Boortz. Nice huh. This despite the fact that Gore carried Oregon in 2000.

There are more Dems in Oregon(At least there used to be). Yet they try and say that dems are not politically involved because they don't listen to talk radio. Yet, I always hear these guys say that a good portion of their audience is angry liberals.

The ratings have nothing to do with Clear Channels programming, it's all politics.

But the reason why I liked him is he had a pretty big stable of articulate liberals who called him regularly. But after a while I got tired of his constant apologizing for Bush.

He always puts them on towards the biginning of the break. As soon as the lib starts winning the argument victor cuts him off, gets the last word in and then apologizes that he has to go to a commercial.

Victor used to be a DJ in Freedom California on a station called KPIG/KFAT. He pretty much got run out of town by the heavy liberal community of Santa Cruz County.

I knew he was in Eugene for a while, and I think that's where KPAM pulled him from.

In his defense, I've gotten my views across, but I have noticed that the protesting organizers have stopped accepting his invitations to appear prior to their events. I guess they realized what I realized--Victor has a schtick he does not deviate from, he is set on his agenda, and the discussion, while entertaining, does not have any impact on the line he spews.

That's my take on him anyway.
