On the Eastern Front during WWII, the Russians used to shoot defeatists immediately, on the spot. It's made republicans look foolish to come out supporting the WH decision to not have Condi testify, only to turn around and allow her to testify. The Bush junta is clearly stumbling and not thinking before they act. This is just one more example of their eating crow and one more addition to the list of Bush flip flops.

They can attempt to paint Condi anyway they wish...the bottom line is she's an atrocious liar, and if she thinks she can lie under oath without being exposed, particularly before a Commission with experienced lawyers (Gorelick & Bin-Veniste)who are trained to elicit the truth from those who are testifying, then their arrogance is their achilles heel. I can't wait for the spectacle. :D
