Watch Cheney's lips while Bush is testifying |
|
or better yet -- Cheney should be forced t o drink a glass a water while Bush is testifying -- that way we'll know it is Bush speaking.

1. It's appalling that they will now testify together |
|
I think that's why the deal was made. They realized they couldn't send bush in there alone to answer questions - he would blow the whole deal. So they sacrificed Condi so they could alter the bush testimony terms. They had BETTER release that transcript.

2. Rummy was flanked by General Myers |

and Tenet had his deputy. Real men like Clarke face the gauntlet on their own because they have the balls.
on a lighter note: I've heard Condi has balls too!
just kidding

6. Wouldn't suprise me in the least. |

This would be so sad if it weren't so frightening. A sitting POTUS not able to testify before a committe under oath because he'd defile himself in more ways than one. And still people buy into him.

4. Actually, watch Cheney's hand |
|
He actually sticks it up Bush's ass and manipulates Bush's mouth that way.

5. The fact that they will be there at the same time |
|
is the height of chickenshit. They could not tell the same story if they were to be questioned seperately. Plus the fact they probably think the other one is going to stick a knife dead in their back.

7. They will have hours and hours of rehearsals |
|
and dry runs and have a BS story memorized. Their speech patterns and gestures will be scripted. Condi is in on it too.

9. Unless I am wrong on this... |
|
...the Cheney/Bush testimonies before the 9-11 commission are to be private, no public viewing at all, no taping, no broadcasts and NOT UNDER OATH! That means quite simply that Dick and Dubya get a free ride and will be able to lie their asses off without any accountability.
They should be made to sweat before 100,000,000plus viewers along with the 9-11 commissioners to make sure that the right questions are asked and all answers are followed up. This is still a travesty of justice to the victims of 9-11, their families and the American people. We should not let up the pressure on these guys. Paul Wolfowitz should be brought up to appear in public as well, since it was he who got George W. Bush to switch from Al Qaida to Saddam. Let's find out why this president is so easily influenced away from focusing on the real threats to national security.
On Chris Mathews tonight, 9-11 Commissioner Thompson said Condi Rice will appear within two weeks. Cheney/Bush should follow hot after that and in public under oath. :grr: :spank:

10. Oh I was wondering, having the President and Vice President ... |
|
...appear together at the same time, does that present a problem of national security? Remember what Dubya did on 9-11 in the classroom in Florida. It's not like either one of them would have the common sense to get up and excuse themselves from the hearings. What if both guys are taken out at the same moment by some strange act of fate, who would be sworn in as president? Also, if they were both found guilty of treason, could they be arrested on the spot? This is becoming delicious! :dunce:
