5 questions that Repubs cant' ignore... |
|
Edited on Wed Aug-06-03 06:56 PM by imax2268
In all this crazyness going on between the two parties, I sat in my study last night trying to think of 5 questions that Republicans can't ignore. I couldn't think of any, each question I would come up with, I would find an excuse for an answer by a Republican, instead of an honest and direct answer.
If you could ask any Republican/Conservative 5 questions that they can't dance around, what would they be...?

In your mind what are the questions out there right now that Republicans refuse to answer directly...?

1. Explain why you cut budget from the Veteran's Administration at the same time that our military is fighting and dying in Afghanistan and Iraq.
2. Explain why Tom DeLay feels that Texas must be redistricted now and not when the Texas Legislature meets next. Why is redistricting and not the school system's budget the top priority for Texas Republicans (this is germane because they can't pee without asking Washington's permission first).
3. Explain why weapons of mass destruction programs are a salient replacement for weapons of mass destruction.
4. Explain how continually cutting taxes while spending like there is no tomorrow is fiscally responsible? Explain how poor working class Americans will be better off by privatizing New Deal programs or simply killing them off.
5. Explain to me and to every poor working class American out there how in the hell your elitist policies are not class warfare.

6. What is in Cheney's energy task force papers |
|
why are you pushing possibly tainted legislation, with minimal hearings, when CHeney is hiding the origins of the bill. why are you supporting behavior by this white house that you never would have tolerated from the Clinton White House?
(that is all one related question).

"Why is lying about sex an impeachable offense, but lying about sending our country to war is not impeachable?"
He stammered with his mouth agape...and resumed his business...searching for WWRLS (What Would Rush Limbaugh Say)
This was after he decided to send me a repuke email bashing Clinton.
Screw the repukes - I ain't gonna let this shit stand anymore.
And they are pretty lame when you actually take them to task.
On edit: Here's another one I used...
Q: Can anyone tell me exactly what Iraq had to do with the tragedy of september 11th?
Never got a response - NEVER, EVER....

If you question their talking points (which are nearly always unsubstantiated) it short circuits their hive mind.

Very nice questions...
I hope you guys don't mind if I use a few of those for an article that I am writing...
One question that I never get a straight answer for is:
If we didn't go to war because of the threat of WMD, and if we didn't go to war because of a possible threat of a Nuclear Bomb, then why did we go to war...?
I never get a straigt answer from that one...
