5. Nominate Joe LIEberman.... |
|
.... and the Green Party will increase it's party affiliation by tenfold. That nomination is enough to scare even me away from the Democratic Party. That guy is a big dose of loser on a stick.
I wish he would go away. And take Dick Gephardt with him when he goes...

and hand * the presidency.
I see NO enthusiasm for him except among crusty old DLC farts.
HE certainly shows no enthusiasm. I saw him on the Daily Show and he looked like he could barely rustle up enough energy to open his mouth. The guy gives new meaning to the term laid back. Does he have a pulse? Yeah, sure, I can see all those swing voters and the Democratic base and the Greens just setting their alarms to get out and vote for HIM. NOT!!! This election would have the lowest turnout EVER and Bush would win in a landslide. Amazing how dimwitted most of the DLC is.

19. I have refrained, until now, |
|
from posting on the various candidates' threads. I'm an ABB guy. Whoever winds up in the D column has my vote. However...having said that...(you knew this was coming, didn't you?) Lieberman has really pissed me off. His harangues denigrating Dean are ugly. Don't any of these guys get it? Save the critiques and criticism and even "bashing" (hate that word) for BUSH*! Until and during the primaries, tell me why you SHOULD be the nominee, not why your opponents SHOULD NOT be. Why are you too stupid to adopt a successful tactic of the enemy? The repugs 11th Commandment should also be ours: "Thou shalt speak no ill of fellow Democrats.". Is that so difficult to understand? If Lieberman gets the nomination, I'll still hold my nose and vote for him over Bush*. I do not think it is very likely that he will be nominated.

22. Ha. You are not alone, check out the Nation today |
|
They have an op-ed up saying the same thing. Anyone who has spent much time on the 2004 Democratic presidential campaign trail is familiar with the phrase "Except Lieberman." When grassroots Democrats gather to talk about the crowd of candidates for the party's nomination, there is plenty of disagreement about the merits of the various contenders, but the activists invariably come around to saying, "Of course, I'd support anyone against Bush." Then, as an afterthought, they add, "Except Lieberman."http://www.thenation.com/thebeat/index.mhtml?bid=1&pid=871

So that means that the 3-6 votes he gets in the polls here must be from lurkers/freeper moles in addition to the Lieberman apologists
