I noticed "Mormons" in the online poll. What is LDS stand on the war? |
|
This is a serious post. I just moved to a community with a Mormon population, and I would like to know how the church handled this issue or political issues in general. I have long term plans to get involved in politics in this community.
You can PM me, if appropriate. I appreciate your response.

3. What Mormon Leaders Say Matters Little |

I've heard that the President of the LDS Church is a Democrat. That doesn't make any difference to members of the church, who are about the most dedicated Republican supporters you can find.

The other major demographic are the wealthy people in this town, so I expect to be working sheepishly, in opposition, trying to gain some influence where I can. I won't be standing on the street corner handing out Ramsey Clark leaflets. :-) thanks, all
