Sheesh. What arrogance. What gall. Minds the size of peanuts are planning to control the rest of us with some Vulcan pointy-eared mind meld. Just reading their plan made me lose IQ points.

3. From the description here, this sounds like the research

that has been used to make it possible for people with artificial limbs to be able to control them by just thinking. There ARE legitimate and useful purposes for these studies.

Unfortunately, I don't trust the military with this sort of research and information. I don't know that I even believe them when they say that they are publishing all the results in the public scientific press. It would be nice to think so, but the culture of secrecy around all "national security" agencies makes me cynical. What would clinch it for me is whether the scientists involved have to have security clearances. If they do, then they are probably restricted in what they can say. So much for the openness of the scientific method prevailing....
