12. You have a point.
He is good.

We have the good fortune to have several great choices, and several others quite superior to George.

9. Kucinich
but then I also like

Dean
Moseley Braun
Edwards
Sharpton
Kerry

very much too.

I think all nine of them are clearly superior to The Boy Who Would Be King (of course phlegm is superior to that waste of skin).

The only one I really don't agree with is Lieberman and even he is preferable to the current figurehead for the Bushco Junta.

11. DK is first
My thoughts are as follows
1)Kucinich- he voices what I think
2)Sharpton- he says what they others are afraid to say
3)Dean- he is fighting for those who are silent
4)Kerry- he is the voice of the old guard but I have some hope for him
5)Graham- he sounds better each time I hear him
6)Edwards- he's slick but not seasoned enough IMO
7)Mosely-Braun- she's smart and well spoken but, IMO, the US is not ready for a woman
8)Gephardt- I like him but I don't know if I trust him

26. Okay, the count:
Dean has 12 first-place votes out of 22 (up to and icnluding reply #24) plus two first-place ties, so he wins.

The moment he drops to 11 first-place votes, I'm starting to count this thing in Condorcet, and the second- and other-place votes will start counting. In other words, I will count as if there are 36 separate races (one for every pair of the nine candidates; if Clark and LaRouche are in, then the number jumps to 55). If a candidate wins in all of his 8 (or 9, or 10) races, then he is the winner; if no one does, then I'll first find the smallest set of candidates, each of whose members defeats all non-members (e.g. Dean/Kerry/Kucinich, with Dean defeating Kerry, Kerry defeating Kucinich, Kucinich defeating Dean, and each of the three defeating anyone else).

30. Up to reply #29:
Dean drops to 12 out of 27. However, since two more people prefer him to anyone other than Kerry, he defeats anyone other than Kerry at least 14-13. Moreover, he defeats Kerry 16-3 (with 8 tying or not voting between the two).

I'll post more as it gets more interesting and Kucinich and Kerry get more momentum ;).

31. I *heart* Condorcet and pair-wise comparisons...
Heh...well, maybe not a deep love, but do the Freepers have this kind of counting sophistication going on? I think not!

OK, so here are my picks:

1. Clark
2. Dean/Kerry (ties were allowed, right?)
3. Graham
4. Kucinich
5. Braun
6. Edwards
7. Sharpton
8. Lieberman
9. Gephardt

32. Okay...
Actually, the most pro-Condorcet party is the Libertarian one; the Greens favor IRV, whereas the Democrats and Republicans favor plurality because it keeps their duopoly intact. As for freepers, I think they'll consider this system to be some form of communism or somehing.
