Nancy Skinner on Mike Malloy is good for Nancy Skinner the pundit, it does no good for Nancy Skinner the candidate. Even though Mike is online and I love him and Nancy, it does not help her in ILLINOIS. And before you say she cannot get on air in Illinois it has not hurt other Dem candidates.

Is she marching in the Bud Billiken Parade tomorrow? The nation's oldest and largest Black parade held on Chicago's south side? Every serious candidate Dem and Repuke alike will be there. Will she? What is she doing on the ground in Illinois. . .if she wants me to take her seriously she needs to act seriously.

Mike Malloy is great for political junkies. . .but it won't help her on the ground in Illinois.

Go to meetup.com (http://www.meetup.com/browse/polact/cand/state/sen/) and notice Barack Obama has 200 members, Nancy has 2, worse yet Nancy's 2 members are not even in Illinois. I love Nancy but she needs people in Illinois working for her!

. . .of who is in Illinois. I understand about just getting started but I would really like to know of all of her supporters who is in Illinois?

She is entering a crowded field with at least 2 young stars (Hynes and Obama) and Hull is spending a shit load of money, if she does not make some noice by Labor Day she is screwed.

11. The Senate. . .

It is a very crowded field and she is an extreme long shot. I want people who are in Illinois to tell me why she is more attractive candidate than those who are already running in the Democratic primary. I love Nancy but for the life of me there is no way I could vote for her over the others.

Look I understand the whole grassroots thing, I am Clark coordinator in Chicago. I am supporting him becuase he is the best candidate. I love Nancy but she is not the best candidate. How many of her supporters are in Illinois and can demonstrate to me how she is the best candidate?

she's too good at what she does now, which is why I don't support her Senate bid (assuming I lived in Illinois). That's the same reason I don't support Arianna's bid in California.. They can both serve their causes better by being important voices in the media.

. . .I sort of agree, but I would not want to tell her not to run. She would have made this easier if she were aware of what was going on in the state, which she is not. There are so many qualified candidates there are definately other ways in which she could help out.
