Will a draft wake up the rest of America?
While I am 110% against military conscription, there are alot of individuals who support the war part as though they would support their favourite sports team. I know for a fact that there is a faction of the voting demographic that vote the way their spouse votes, without thought or question otherwise.

How about when their son, daughter, niece or nephew's life is on the line?

1. Sadly...
The draft will change some minds, but there are still some people who will consider it an honor and a privilege to serve and die for their country, even though they're being forced to do so.

It's pathetic in my opinion, but true.

2. Yes
I think a draft will wake a lot of people up. My question is will it not be too late.

3. Didn't Kerry say he would have us stay in Iraq
I think he wants to invite the UN and NATO in, but I don't see how that's going to affect having very large quantities American sons and daughters in harm's way over there.

Maybe they just won't hate us so much if Bush* is replaced, so the casualty rate will go down.

I am against the draft, and if I was a volunteer soldier (I'm not, never was either), I would not want to serve with draftee soliders who were not confident about their fulfilling their roles.
