I flipped on the House Proceedings on C-Span today. They were giving their 5-minute speeches. I couldn't believe it when I saw a Republican Congressman from North Carolina (I think it was Charles Taylor) chastizing Donald Rumsfeld for considering the outsourcing of military chaplains. Taylor? was going on about how the soldiers needed chaplains they knew and trusted, and would be able to help them with problems caused by the war. He said he wrote Rummy a letter. He also said that such a proposal would never pass the House.
Now please, what are they* trying to do? Put all fundie preachers in there?
