Wow! Wolfie actually announced his poll results just now. 93% say YES
to "congressional inquiry".

I am suitably amazed.

1. Did you see his report on Blair and Smirk and the embarrassing
clips he showed of their reactions under fire? I already posted a thread on this so I won't repeat it here.

4. Losing Core
I think Bush is losing his core voters, the inbred Klan vote. They're probably hoping to teach Bush a lesson. Or they're all off praying for various justices' deaths for Pat Robertson.

5. I say the Freeps are disillusioned, stunned...
Since when have Freeps been apathetic about polls. I've been to Freeperville and they love to do polls.

7. I don't know what the hell's going on
but there's definitely a concerted effort to go after *. It's as if Michael Rupport is right in his "Beyond Bush" piece: the powers that be are pulling some strings to oust the rat bastard from office. And the first step in doing so is by changing the public's perception through the media. It's still too early to tell, but something is up for sure.

11. I think it was getting to hot for Cheney.
Sundays news was looking to have legs, so they re-arranged the cogs so Bush will get ground up instead.

That's one thing a figurehead is for, after all.

There was another thread on the topic yesterday, about whether it was logical for the BCE to be playing with Uncle Dick's ticker while Junior was out of the country.

13. Same reason they got rid of Nixon
Edited on Wed Jul-09-03 06:32 PM by starroute
It isn't so much the Republicans as it is the traditional Establishment and mainstream business people. People who want to keep the current system going and know the Bushites are just looters and destroyers. People who know that impoverishing 90% of America isn't ultimately to the benefit of the other 10%. Even Republicans who realize that antagonizing a majority of their core constituency is going to plunge them back into long-term minority party status.

Collectively, these people have more power than all the oil millionaries in Texas, and when they decide that a president threatens their well-being, they are perfectly capable of easing him out.

The whole set-up around Nixon's departure -- where first a convenient scandal popped up so that Spirew Agnew could be forced out and replaced by Gerald Ford, and then Nixon himself resigned before being impeached and was immediately pardoned by Ford -- bears all the signs of their behind-the-scenes handiwork.

On edit: Bush Sr. knew how to remain on good terms with the Establishment. Bush Jr. does not. It makes a big difference.

can do business when the whole world is Boycotting you
and blocking everymove you make just because
they don't trust these thugs.

Can you blame them?

Why does EVERYBODY here seem surprised when Wolfie announces results like these? In case people haven't been paying attention, Wolfie's polls are ALWAYS...ALWAYS...ALWAYS in our favor!!! Lots of dems or people in Europe must be watching his show on Satellite. I have never seen a Freeped Wolfie poll...never.
