If Bush would have known early on the facts of TortureGate,
Edited on Wed May-05-04 08:49 PM by TruthIsAll
he surely would have ordered everyone involved to come clean immediately.

He would have alerted the Washington Press Corp through Scott McClellan, and requested a prime time slot to reveal the facts to the American people, speaking the truth in that down-home, Connectexas matter-of-fact manner to which we have become accustomed. Just like Harry Truman. The similarities are amazing.

On top of that, he would have fired those he felt were responsible, whether through neglect, incompetence or worse (MIHOP/LIHOP).

Look, Bush told us everything about the pre-9/11 al Qaeda threats as soon as he heard of them on Aug. 6 from Tenet, didn't he?

I believe him. His outrage is palpable. This is a man of God.
BTW, he needs another $25 billion for Iraq. Let's start the collection right here.

2. Bush knew about it over the holidays, didn't bother and still hasn't
read the entire report and is only covering his ass with both hands because the story came out.

You've got it right TIA...more Bushit!

3. Bush wouldn't recoginize the truth if it bit him on the ass...
There are such unfortunates. They are not at fault; they seem to have been born that way...

4. Bush knew since (at least) January.
According to his own words.

According to the military, they stopped sensory deprivation five days ago, only after the photographs came out.

5. And, of course,
if Geedub thought there was even the remotest possibility that he himself was at fault, he would do the honorable thing and 'fess up and resign for the good of the country that he so loves!

(Er, sometimes my sarcasm almost makes me puke!)
