"rode her like a donkey"
LONDON - U.S. soldiers who detained an elderly Iraqi woman last year placed a harness on her, made her crawl on all fours and rode her like a donkey, Prime Minister Tony Blair's personal human rights envoy to Iraq said Wednesday.

The envoy, legislator Ann Clwyd, said she had investigated the claims of the woman in her 70s and believed they were true.

During five visits to Iraq in the last 18 months, Clwyd said, she stopped at British and U.S. jails, including Abu Ghraib, and questioned everyone she could about the woman's claims. But she did not say whether the people questioned included U.S. forces or commanders.

Asked for details, Clwyd said during a telephone interview with The Associated Press that she "didn't want to harp on the case because as far as I'm concerned it's been resolved."

Those few bad apples are starting to look like a barrelful.

3. Y'all this makes me sick
Fudge Bush & Co. for sending these Guardsmen and Reservists (and fulltime regular military) to Iraq for his little "I'm a War President" stunt.

None of this sh*t needed to happen. But we here all know that.

Now we're churning out American war criminals and newly-minted anti-American "terrorists" who used to just be plain old Iraqis staying outta Saddams way.

Thanks Mr. pResident..."Mission Accomplished."

6. Don't know all the facts....
but I would find it doubly shocking if a regular Army/Marine unit committed these atrocious acts.

If Reservists and Guardsmen are not the culprits, then the general morale and the chain of command in the Iraq theater is really f-cked up. Makes you wonder why Gen. Tommy Franks bailed out instead of seeing this thing through...maybe he saw this coming.

5. Yes and we will give these brutal motherfuckers a hero's welcome
when they come home and as soon as they get comfortable, we will be left with epidemic crimes caused by brutal animals given a hero's welcome.

9. What honor is there in humiliating a 70 year old woman like this?
Apparently many of our soldiers do not behave like the Knights they are made out to be, instead they are more in line with brigands and mercenaries. Heartless, cruel, ignoble and devoid of honor.

10. Am I the only one who has trouble believing
that a 70 year old woman could be ridden like a donkey?

Seems implausible. I don't doubt that they would do it, but rather that she wasn't crushed.

11. Sow the wind, reap the whirlwind.
For they have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind: it hath no stalk: the bud shall yield no meal: if so be it yield, the strangers shall swallow it up. Hosea 8/7

We are fucked. The bible tells me so.

The Iraqis love us so much I'm sure they did.
