I bet this has been already been noticed. But this is great - his site gets tons of traffic.

This is the article he links to (I Will Not Shut Up By Sheila Samples):

2. His radio show
gets 8,000,000 hits per day. And he constantly says Bush is a freaking nut and has got to go. Hence the FCC troubles.

3. He recently revamped his site and is directing his listeners to it
He talks about it a lot. I think he is personally involved with the content of his site. Maybe Stern himself has wandered through our forums as well.

9. Go Howard!
I actually said that. In what alternate universe would I ever say that? Sometimes I think we have fallen off the edge of the world, and I'm seeing elephants standing on a quite large turtle. (No, I'm not hallucinating, it's from Terry Pratchett). I've never before been a Stern fan, but I surely do salute his fortitude in standing for freedom.

And the Samples article brings tears to one's eyes.

10. Stern finally found a "calling" for his website.
For years, he put off developing his website, saying he wanted to work on it when the technology was perfect, when enough people had broadband, etc. For years, it was just one page with a couple graphics. I'm glad he finally found a use for it. Lots of links to good info!

11. yeah his website used to be just bare-bones I don't think anyone
visited it. Now it's a very active site and he promotes it on a daily basis.

I wonder if Stern linked to our site because they could see that traffic was being directed to his site from DU. Afterall, his website has been posted several times here on DU the last few months...they can look at their access logs and see where the traffic is coming from. That could have led them to DU, where they read our words of support. In turn, they link to an article from DU...

12. I think a lot of people are starting to realize that
We ALL have a dog in this fight. To one person, it's their Freedom of Speach, to another it's their drinking water, to another it's their children's education, to another it's their loved one going to war or possibly being drafted.

We're all going to meet at the water cooler!! :donut:

:hi: Hi Howard!!! :hi:

14. Well, we're certainly glad you're here.
And Tim and Beverly LaHaye are old hacks who are also associated with the Moonies. The Rev. Moon thinks he's better than Jesus.
