IS Bush looking at a TELEPROMPTER during that Al Hurra interview?
We're watching it on Cspan right now again and he is CLEARLY looking at a prompter. Can he friggin do an interview ON HIS OWN??
When he says "First time I SAW, heard about pictures was on tv" in response to the question about when he first heard about it, it sounds like a buzzer or someone clearing his throat RIGHT THEN, listen for it. Is clearing his throat after a goofy sentence part of his lie pattern? Also says that Kimmit talked about the investigation in January, so he knew.

1. Also catch the "Good Job" at the end
http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2004/05/20040505-5.html

Very Bottom:
Q Thank you very much, Mr. President.

THE PRESIDENT: Good job.

WTF?

3. Yeah! i just saw him say that...
The look he gave the guy when he said it was pretty weird, too. Like he approved with the way the guy did the interview. What's up with that?

2. He also had that stupid smile...
that I would think is inappropriate for the message that he is trying to push. I would think that the Middle East would think he is not being sincere.

4. Al Aribiya- He does NOT want to have full investigations- He is LYING
Innocent until you're proven guilty UNLESS you're in Guantanemo.
Looking MORE at the teleprompter during the second interview.
Can he come with any more jingoistic Peace, security slogans? Pah!

5. I don't think it's a teleprompter. He's trying to remember his lines.
Remember they rehearse him for all of his appearances. Remember he and Cheney rehearsed before they went into the 9/11 commission? I see him trying to remember his lines, occasionally blowing them but sticking to the script, no ad libs. And sometimes I can see KAREN's gestures, her delivery, as if he's copying her line readings.

6. Don't agree-when he can't remember his lines, he sort of shuts his eyes
and stammers. In this case, especially the second interview, he is continually glancing over at something to the left of hte interviewer, maybe an outline.

7. He didn't have that much time to prep, though.
When was this decision, to do the Arab TV "interviews", made? He's been ridin' the Canadian bus around Michigan and Ohio for the last few days, and collecting checks from his Pioneers.

I don't think he had a lot of time to prep, and they also didn't have a lot of time to write his lines for him...

8. I guarantee you they wrote his lines for him
Whether he's reading them or is trying to remember them is arguable.

9. Course they don't have too much to write when he can use that jingoistic
filler slogans that don't require any thought.

13. Absolutely.
I'm up in the air about the teleprompter thing, but it does seem a bit of a stretch for Chimpy to memorize his written lines in such a short period of time. :D

14. Nah
I saw a report that the bus trip was typical bush-fake all the way. He only spent a couple hours on the bus and flew in. If it was coherent they wrote the lines. And if they didn't they were crazy to let him ad lib on something this important.

10. Saw a photo this week of "Mission Fucked-Up"
And he had 2 prompters at the podium, for his "off-the-cuff" remarks to the sailors...

Son of a bitch probably has a prompter in his bedroom...

"oh...Oh....That's...the way....karen....oh....play......withmyballs....(damn, who's typing this shit? They didn't put in enough spaces, and besides, it's Condi's turn tonight)..Oh.....baby....."

11. the body language
I noticed when he said "and we want to know the truth" he shook his head side to side, like "no". Now if you were trying to be empathic in that sentence you would shake your head up and down, like "yes". Even his body knows he's lying.

15. Al Hurra is utter propaganda and ignored in the Arab World
(it's run by the US).

Al Aribiya is the mouthpiece of the Saudis and not very respected either.

Notice, he didn't appear on Al Jazeera, or Dubai TV!
