I think he'll resign sometime over the weekend...a lot depends on the mood of the Senate Armed Services Committee...but if these damn photos keep getting released each depicting a new gruesome outrage well...
I dunno, frankly at this point I don't see how Rumsfeld can stay on.
But I could be wrong.
Any other guesses out there?

1. It's too late...

Bush had a chance to fire him yesterday and he blew it. Resignation at this point won't put out the fire. It won't do a damned thing.

I'll be glad to have Rummy gone, but does that mean that Wolfewitz will be Defense Secretrary?

He's what James Baker was to Bush I. He's a complete company man who follows orders with ruthless drive. Actually, under another president and vice-president, and some lessons in how to work with others, Rumsfeld may have been an impressive Secretary of Defense. (Not?)
